Drama Queen

This was probably one of those "you had to be there" moments, but I found it extremely funny so I just had to share this:

The scene, Shiraz - supposed to be doing her homework but wasting time fooling around.
Me – getting all het up because she was NOT doing her homework.
Meshi – doing something in another room.

Me: "SHIRAZ, IF YOU DON'T FINISH YOUR HOMEWORK YOU AREN'T GOING TO YOUR DRAMA CLASS TODAY!"

Meshi (coming out the bedroom): "but mom – THIS IS drama!".

Ok, after reading it, I see that it was much funnier hearing it come out of the mouth of a four year old, but I just love to write down the things they say that make me smile.
